Air Cooled Versus Liquid Cooled LawnSite™ is

Apr 08, 2008  Liquid-cooled engines experience increased fuel economy compared to standard air-cooled models due to the more consistent operating engine temperatures. A properly designed system keeps the radiator out of harms way (debris, branches, etc) and the cooling fan draws hot air through the radiator, past the engine and away from the operator.

Mar 04, 2008  LC engines always produced more power than air-cooled and I guess that's just still stamped in my head. My LC engines are quieter and run just as strong whether it's 20 degrees outside or 105. I've never replaced a water pump. I add coolant maybe once per year. Blowing off a radiator is easier than blowing out the cooling fins of an air-cooled ...

Jul 28, 2020  Air Cooled Generators. Air cooled generators are most often used when you need less power. Their power level typically ranges from 8 to 20 kilowatts. Basically, this type of generator is just cooled down by use of air flow. It is like an internal fan that keeps the engine from overheating.

By far, the most efficient method for keeping an ATV engine cool is a liquid-cooled system. It is also known as a water-cooled system, although a mixture of water and anti-freeze is what’s contained in the coolant.

How Cool Is Your Mower? - Zero Turn Commercial

Engine performance is improved by water cooling systems while fuel consumption decreases. It's estimated that a water-cooled engine can last almost twice as long as an air-cooled one. Most riding lawn mowers with a water cooling system use 10 or 12 cc pumps in their engines. The Wright Z uses a 16 cc hydro pump instead, which allows the mower ...
